The Mural Painting Process
Murals are amazing at boosting foot traffic, making your home feel unique to you, and bringing communities together! My goal is always for my clients to truly love the murals I paint for them and walk away with a fully transformed space!
So, you're probably wondering how this all works, right? Don’t worry—I've got a simple, step-by-step process to take us from an idea to a mural you'll absolutely love! From our first chat to the final touches, everything is designed to be fun, easy, and all about bringing your vision to life. Take a look below to see exactly what the process looks like, and feel free to reach out with any questions along the way.
The Mural Process
-
1. PricingProjects range in price based on square footage and complexity. I charge a flat rate per project that includes everything upfront from the design process to the actual application of the mural, so you know exactly what you're paying from the jump! Price per square foot is determined by the complexity of desired designs, number of colors chosen, high-quality paint and supplies, travel expenses, equipment rental costs, and assistants if necessary.
-
2. Mood BoardsI begin by making a mood board full of inspirational photos for you to take a look at. This is especially helpful if you're unsure of what direction you want to go in. You'll tell me what you like, what you don't, etc., and that will inform the first round of designs!
-
3. DesignsOnce we meet to discuss your project, I ask specific questions to get a feel for what it is you want for your mural project. I'll create two to three finished concepts for you to choose from!
-
4. RevisionsOnce you choose which design you'd like to move forward with, I'll make two rounds of revisions if necessary to ensure that you love the design before I start painting!
-
5. InstallationOnce you've approved the design and signed your contract I’m ready to start painting!
